Welcome Back to Scotland!

At check in my bag passed the weight muster after I pulled out the two books in the outside pocket.  She did, however, still have to wear the shameful orange 'HEAVY' baggage tag.

The flight back was uneventful except that I really didn't sleep much, maybe two hours at the most, but thought I was awake the entire time.  No problem getting home on the bus.  Arrived by about 1pm.  As I hit the landing for my floor I read the following sign:

My first thought was that Dominik had promised me he wasn't going to party until he finished the semester's work he had in front of him. Then noticed the room number and realized it was my room...

As I turned into the hall way I was greeted with:

The sign pointed right to my door which had the following hung on it:

When I asked Dominik if he'd collected any entrance fee money he said they'd all shared it between them so I'm out of luck on the second income.  Notice I'd written 'be good' on the white board behind the sign!  Once everyone had welcomed me home I send Dominik down to the ground floor to retrieve my 'HEAVY' bag.  Turn around is fair play!!

Once in my room I thought, "I'll take a wee nap to keep up and then I'll head out to Institute at 7pm."  BUT the sun was out - big, bright and beautiful and when the sun is out in Scotland you do not waste it.  So, I unpacked and reorganized all the disorganized stuff  I'd left behind on my hasty exit.  I tried to nap as the sun went down but that was not in the cards so I called off driving to Institute, took a NyQuill and was asleep by 8pm.

My alarm went off at 6am...  I hit the snooze alarm... My alarm went off at 6:09am...  I turned down the volume and hit the snooze alarm...  My FIRE ALARM went off.  I was rocketed out of bed and was down on the street with everyone else in the building before I realized I'd forgotten my glasses!

Turns out it was 7:30am - I'd been asleep with my radio on for over an hour.  I guess it takes a fire drill to get my body back on track.  Welcome back to Scotland Beth!
