So I went to this two day workshop called Academic Reading & Academic Writing. In the first class I learned that I pretty much do all the things they suggested so I walked away feeling good about myself and my scholarly upbringing. The writing workshop had a similar outcome. The one thing I did pick up was the fact that writing, of any kind, on a regular basis helps keep the juices flowing when you have to work on your scholarly papers - so I now plan to blog every day to keep my system regular ;-)
Of course, I'm in the library at 9am this morning and have already had my hand in the director's secret stash of chocolate since I have to start a new chapter of my Thesis today and I just always have a hard time getting the engine to turn over... Two more Hershey's milk chocolate with almond mini nuggets and I'll be out of excuses.
Boy it's sunny out side......
