What is today...??? um - Wednesday. RIGHT!
OK - this week Hebrew has moved to everyday at 9am and I've come down with what they call Fresher's Week Flu - but it's now the third week of term (three weeks after Fresher's Week) and I don't have the flu - just a pretty slammin' head cold - although it's not as bad as the one that knocked me out last Christmas. Teaching is interesting - words I've known since I was two suddenly disappear from my vocabulary. I look at a word on the board and can't pronounce it. Or my voice fades about 10 mins before class is supposed to get out so I let the student's go early since they won't be able to hear anything I say anyway!
Then I have to correct the quizzes I'm giving every day, input the scores into the right place and translate sentences for the next day.
On top of that I now have to pay VERY close attention while I correct all the footnotes on the 34 page chapter I just finished for my dissertation. Somehow I keep rolling along. Mostly rolled up in my favorite wool blanket on the sofa in my room instead of in my office but hey - what ever works!
