My Graduation Cake

Mom decided we needed to celebrate my graduation and that a cake in the castle mold pan I'd given her a few years ago was the most appropriate shape. She and Emily (my niece) made it the other night while I was at work. In case you can't tell - chocolate cake doesn't photograph that well - the corner towers are topped with blueberries and walnuts. Emily did the frosting with special tips so the doors and the towers would look cool. By the way, those are pecans forming the drawbridge.

Emily did the honors and cut the cake after a dinner of Chinese take out - Perfect celebration!
