Can Do Ceilidh

The following is a photo record that last Friday night's 'Can Do Ceilidh' was a success and that when the PostGrads learned how to do Scottish Country Dancing there were no first aid emergencies or ambulance runs - no matter what the pictures look like!
Alan and Amanda Jones won the evening's 'most creative use of excess energy and enthusiasm' award.

Toby - the calm center of the Ceilidh storm.

Steve won 'best dressed,' or was it 'best dress'?

Kathleen had my camera and was playing with the shutter speed. I really like this one because, well, it kind of says it all for Scottish Country Dancing.

Love the look on Haley's face - now that tells you how much fun we had!

I'm in the left had circle (jeans, white shirt and a vest). That's about the best picture we've got of me. I tended to stay out of the fray and claimed one too many knee surgeries just to catch my breath!

OK, not the best shot of me but I had finally gotten the three-fold-figure-eight dance move down right for the first time. I can't explain it. I'd have to show it to you but we'd need a rear-view mirror or two just to be sure we didn't bump into each other.

Officemate Jenn Craft - just a great picture so I had to put it in.

Spud Snell - Yes! That is his name. At least that is what everyone calls him. It's the eyes I think! They are absolutely hypnotic!

Cathy was a GREAT sport and bravely partnered with Steve!

Sarah was having a great time. And check out Raphael and his daughter. They didn't get mixed up with the whole line dancing part but she was always ready to run through the arch.

And boy does that smile say it all!

One last shot. It was a whirlwind and a fun furious time!
Thanks to everyone who came and joined in.
See you at the next Ceilidh!
