One of the more blustery days on record - I spent it safely inside most of the day.
Got caught up on all my Hebrew grading - at least as much as the students have turned in.
Dashed out, got blown down the street actually - just long enough to get my hair cut.
Got blown back to the office to finish polishing my SBL paper for submission - first I sent it off to the two professors who asked for a copy as part of their research for their new Judges commentaries. Then... deeeeeep breath... I finished making all the stylistic corrections and submitted it to 'The Journal for the Study of the Old Testament.'
Please keep you fingers crossed for publication. I have no idea how long it will be until I hear. Trust me - you'll know as soon as I do!
Wonder if they've turned on the town Christmas lights. Must get out beyond the four walls and give it a look-see.
