Right! That's why we live here!

Absolutely gorgeous weather!  Yesterday the morning grey burned off and chased any clouds that were thinking of sticking around away.  I didn't leave the office long enough to enjoy it but we spent the afternoon with the window WIDE open!  Aaaah Heaven!

Since it now doesn't really get dark around here until almost 10pm I went out for a walk around 7pm.  Walked down toward the Old Course, watched a couple of foursomes come into the 18 hole.  One poor soul finished the course with his ball just hanging on the lip of the cup - it refused to go in! 

On the walk back toward town I ran into Denis Dragovich (Aussie working on religion and politics).  We had a wonderful conversation - my first lengthy, adult conversation all day!  We both agreed that working alone can get very isolating so we are planning to get together for lunch sometime next week and bounce ideas off each other. 

And now TODAY, right from the start, is even more beautiful than yesterday!  Katie beat me into the office because the sun woke her up at 4:30am and she's in a summer dress complaining that it's too hot.  It may only get up to 20C today (@70 degrees F).  She'd never survive in DC in the summer time! 

My whirligig is spinning in the window so I can't help but smile!
