There is an old adage about New England weather - If you don't like it, wait a minute and it will change.
Yesterday's 'drech' turned into crystal clear sun, deep blue sky and the sound of lawn mowers a few houses down. It is absolutely beautiful and while the temperature may still not be beach appropriate it is nice enough to open a window or two and let some fresh air in. This is what I love about New England - the constant ability to surprise and refresh!
I may still be wearing my mother's flannel shirt but that is only because everything else I have with me at the moment is in the wash.
