Yeah!!! I had the house to myself for two whole weeks while Mom & Dad were in France celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. While the timing was perfect - all my stuff exploded, sorted and then put away before they returned - I thought I was going to go crazy with no one to talk to! And the fact that it is Pre-Memorial Day in a beach side town meant that the sidewalks are rolled up and stored after dinner time so there was nothing to do but watch boring TV at night.
Mom & Dad are fighting jetlag today, trying to stay awake long enough to readjust to EST. I'm doing all I can to help them by talking a blue streak. I don't really think it matters what I say so long as they occasionally respond with a grunt or humph. I'll let them off the hook after dinner since I do need to catch up on the boring TV finales tonight.
