It is SOOOO green!

My flight got in on time and we were home by 1am - the cross country flight plus 3 hours wreaks havoc on decent arrival times! I crawled into bed and promptly... couldn't fall asleep. Must have though because I eventually woke up at 7:30am with VERY BRIGHT sun shinning in my window.

Item #1 on the Cape Cod To Do List: Buy a black out curtain for the east facing window.

I stumbled out to the kitchen where Mom & Dad were having breakfast (mind you it's about 5am for me) where Dad proceeded to instruct me on how the TV/DVR etc. worked. I didn't even have my glasses on.

Dad is out running errands and Mom is planting flowers for the porch. She says that the growing season here on the Cape is so short that she wanted to be sure everything was in the ground before they leave on Monday for their 2 week 50th Anniversary trip to France. I guess I could go out and help, but the whirlwind that is my parents pre-trip To Do List could be raised to an F5 level if I stick my nose in.

Item #3: Make my own list of errands and get out of the house for the afternoon. But first find my brush and blow dryer so I don't scare local children.

In the meantime I have unpacked my suitcase and attempted to put a few things away. My mother informs me that my 3 (going on 16) year old niece Lily is into make-up and she would probably be fascinated with my Nikon camera so...

Item #4: Find a way to secure my bathroom accessories and a safe hiding place for the camera!

Well, time to get to the CCTDL (Cape Cod To Do List).
