Cathy has left St. Andrews to head south to Edinburgh. She wants to be sure she can get through and be on her plane tomorrow afternoon so she's on a bus now. Jenn and her husband Brandon are down in Wales for a few days (hopefully) while he takes a test for his forestry program. Katie is or was in Ireland for the weekend. Whether she makes it back or not is still up in the air. All this is not a bad thing. I can have background music on all day and I just finished the section on Narrative Criticism, had lunch and now I'm procrastinating the 'definitions' portion of my thesis. ;-)
Last night Cathy, Mary, Kathleen and I had a lovely dinner at an Italian restaurant in town. Afterwards I went to Holy Trinity church and enjoyed a lovely concert - Hayden's Messiah. the last time I went to the Messiah was at the National Cathedral in DC. This one wasn't quite the same but still - the words, the music and the location combined to make a very lovely and moving experience.
Woke up this morning and it had snowed over night so I took my camera on the way to work. Here's what I saw:
The following pictures were taken from the roof of the Roundel where I have an office. Robin, a student from Australia, borrowed the attic keys from the cleaning staff and showed me the most AMAZING view!

Stunning photos, Beth. Hope you're doing well.
