Today's weather will be the worst of the week... M1 (major freeway) overturned lorry (truck)... If you don't have to be at work please stay home... A9 (another freeway) jackknifed lorry... Gatwick and Edinburgh airports have now been closed for three straight days... jackknifed lorry... more snow expected in Scotland... pile-up due to lorry... I think we've lost North Lanchastershire...
Meanwhile the view from my window at 8am this morning revealed a new layer of snow on the ground but a patch of blue right above the hamlet of St. Andrews:
You really can't hate the cold and snow when it makes everything so pretty. Well, you can if you add in the wind!
