St Mary's Got Talent.... um.... debatable!

Last night was the St. Mary's Got Talent night, a take off on 'America's Got Talent' or 'American Idol' - complete with rude judges! But hey, if you are going to make a fool of yourself might as well do it with friends! Right????!!!
The girl in the blue t-shirt had a talent for telling fractured fairy tales. We three were 'volunteered' from the audience to play the parts. Fiona Brown (white t-shirt) will be playing Little Red Riding Hood. David Larsen plays the wolf and I... I get to overact Grandma!

First up - must have a costume although, I must say, I look a bit more like a Tehran granny than a babushka fairytale granny.

There was a bit of a technical glitch. As we waited for the author I exclaimed, "I'm growing older by the minute." Got a descent laugh from the audience but I'm not giving up my day job.

While the wolf looks as if he's blessing his dinner I over act the death scene with absolute conviction!

Katie and David - Katie informed me that she was NEVER going to do me another favor EVER again after agreeing to be part of the Post Graduate '12 Minor Prophets' presentation! Thank goodness there is no photographic evidence of our 'talent' but here are the words (sung to the tune "Three Little Girls From School are We" from The Mikado.
