OK this might sound a bit bizarre and maybe even sad but..
The best part about being in the office all alone on Christmas Eve (aside from all the work I am getting done) is the fact that I have ALL the doors propped open! You see there are four doors between me and anywhere I want to go:
Desk to Office door (3 steps); Office Door to Fire Door #1 (1/2 a step); Landing to Fire Door #2 (2 steps); Fire Door #2 to Bathroom or Copy Room Door (1 step).
The number of times I take this route back and forth - for various reasons - is numerous. It is ridiculous the work out my right bicep gets opening doors. So today, while there is no one else in the building, I have wedged, propped or just blocked open all the doors. I practically dance to the copier to pick up my new pages!
