Two things do not mix! Gale Force Winds and having to get up at 3am for an airport run.
We had high winds again yesterday that lasted well into the night so sleep wasn't all that great - what I did get of it. Because I set the alarm for 2:50am in order to pick up two of our American PhD's at 3am. They where heading back to the states - most westbound flights leave at the literal crack of dawn and it's at least 1.5 hours to get to EDI, add in check in time and you leave at OH-Dark 30 to make sure you get there in time.
We made it all safe and sound and I got back in time to actually sleep for an additional hour before having to teach. Now I'm in my office but if the heat actually comes on and warms me up I know I'll be sound asleep in my desk chair in a matter of minutes! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
