Oh Hail!

I got pelted with hail the size of pellets this morning! It was clear when I looked out the window and put on my coat but by the time I got downstairs it was hailing. I ventured out but had to shield my face on the three block walk to the office. When I got inside to shed layers at my desk I had pellets in the cuff of my hat, in my coat pockets, in the handles of my computer bag and, eventually, all over the floor of my office!

On the other hand the shower was especially hot this morning and I did contemplate staying put for the entire day. Might have been the best idea I have all day. ;-)
