This was the view out the window first thing Thursday morning. Yes, the sun is up behind this cosmic shroud. At home we'd call it PEA SOUP fog. 
Rather ghostly if you ask me but the eeriness was eased by the noise and commotion the town made as it got up and got going. Even if you couldn't see clear across the street...
