I was tutoring Biblical Hebrew this morning and by the time I got out of class the crowd was streaming out of St. Salvator's quad and back into town. This is as close as I got to the Royals:
The scene on the way home yesterday afternoon - traffic cones and signs every few blocks or so.
A ghost town this morning! Sorry it's a bit out of focus (so was I at the early hour). The church clocktower is St. Salvators - the Royal gathering was in the grass quad behind the church.
The ancient and the new clash in alternate traffic patterns this morning.
Just so you don't think that the US has cornered the market on crass commercialism... These cakes and cookies came in two versions: The official engagement photo from the palace and the 'relaxed' official photo taken a few days later.
