BEFORE EARL: I now understand the saying "The calm before the storm."The morning was soooo quiet - no birds, no wind, no waves. Even the bugs that usually indicate heat and humidity were quiet. It was eerie.
AFTER THE STORM: Winds and surf but sun and lots of fun at the beach!
Lots of sand got eaten away by the undertow but it looked good doing it.
And the sunset hues were just beautiful
