MAINE - a state of mind

I ran up to Maine to see my sister one last time and to get my hair cut by her stylist - who is AMAZING! (Must look good for this new adventure!) Here are a few pictures of the trip... I'd forgotten just how beautiful the coast of Maine is!

A 1,700lbs Moose made, entirely, out of CHOCOLATE.
I guess they have to find something to do during those long cold winter nights.

This little bathing beauty was just having a great time at the beach.
She couldn't stop to tell me her name but I thought the pail and bow accessory was a clever fashion choice.

The water in Maine is crystal clear and cold! but once you loose the feeling in your feet you all you see is the absolute beauty of it all. Soooo different from the sand and seaweed waves of Cape Cod.

Rosehip end of the season berries along the seaside path. I hear, if you take the time, they make good jam but it's A LOT of work.

The diamonds dancing on the water always take my breath away!
