So my niece Emily (13) had informed me that, "You are LEAVING. You HAVE to be on facebook!!!" I am now on facebook. The computer has found me lots of friends and I've even found one or two on my own but I have yet to figure out how to send messages to individuals and/or the world. Oh, and I 'poked' someone today. Hope that wasn't as rude as it sounds.
Emily also video chats with her Papa, my father, via Skype. The two of them have conspired against me to get me up and running on Skype so they can call me in Scotland - for Emily it's to keep in touch, for Dad it's because it's free! I am now up on Skype but I have only tried it once so if you call me and can't hear me we might have to hold up hand written signs.
And NOW I have actually downloaded a dozen songs from Amazon! Who knew I could figure something like that out without a 13 year old's help! I feel so techno savvy! Now all I have to do is figure out how to get a few more things into my two 70lbs suitcases and I'll be ready to go!
