Day 1 - did not sweat through my shirt

Yes, my first official day of teaching Biblical Hebrew is now complete! And I did not need to change my shirt when I got home. I say 'didn't need to' but admit to ditching the nice duds almost immediately in favor of jeans and my favorite CapeCod sweatshirt!

Class went well. I had 20 undergrad students on the roll and ended up with 24 with the addition of several Masters students. Most have absolutely no Hebrew but I've got one ringer - went to Jewish high school and everything. He's actually a psychology major but I think I can turn him before the end of the semester.

We did race through the alphabet and a few other things - I could tell from some of the blank stares I was getting back. But then I remembered the first few classes I was in knew it would all be a blur for a while.

I've now had my dinner and outlined my lesson for tomorrow so I am signing off to catch up on some TV! Too much fun had by all. Good Night!
