Within the walls of Dublin Castle, across an amazing expanse of green (with a Celtic snake brickwork design) is the rather unassuming Chester Beatty Library. (on the right with the blue and green banners) It is more a museum than library and houses and impressive collection of ancient books, scrolls and artwork collected by the wealthy American Chester Beatty who loved living in the UK and ended up leaving his collection to the Irish people.
Just a little bit of mixed architecture on my adventure to find the library.
