Curt came for a quick visit to Edinburgh and St Andrews and I lost him in the fog!
Curt flew into Edinburgh on Friday night so I took a bus down Saturday am and we went on a tour of the Castle where the guide told us the sun would, most definitely, burn off the fog by noon... NOT!
This photo (looking back up at castle hill) was taken much later in the day and, while unseasonably warm, it was just as thick as pea soup. But quite evocative of all the legends surrounding the castle and city for sure.

We ducked into St Gile's Cathedral and this is what we found - the stained glass is just breathtaking!
